Our Uprising Shorts are the go-to choice for road bikers taking on all distances. From 10 miles to 100 miles, our unique shorts convert from form-fitting and aerodynamic on the bike to loose and stylish off the bike. Using a combination of a subtle zipper and adjustable Velcro™ closure, you control how snug they get. With advanced absorption chamois technology, the Liberator Liner ensures that the ride will be smooth, dry, comfortable, at least as far as your shorts are concerned.
Highly breathable, 4-way stretch fabric and elastic waistband provide superior comfort and generous fit in both the tight, form-fit and relaxed fit modes. Dial in fit with a velcro tab at the hem for optimal aerodynamics. The shorts also have a drawstring if needed to further dial in fit.

Finally have a compression short/shell that fits. My every day riding go to at this point. Tight where I want them tight, lose and not binding. My only disappoint was that the combo was on sale individually, for a better price and I missed it.
I have been a cyclist for over 40 years and have worn the typical lycra shorts with seat padding. My brother recently told me about these shorts from ElevenPine, which I purchased and they are the best and most comfortable biking shorts I have ever used. I loved them so much that I just ordered a second pair. The versatility of the shorts is spectacular in that they can hugs your legs during the ride, but when stopped or having lunch, you can expand the shorts for greater comfort. These are now the only shorts and liner that I will use for riding, whether road cycling or mountain biking.
I have not been out cycling yet in these shorts but I tried on the liberators and have worn the uprising shorts just lounging around. They are super comfortable and no one said anything to me like why do you have zippers on the sides of your shorts. Main this was that my wife did not make any odd comments to me.... So i know they pass for regular shorts. By the way, Jeff was super helpful in the shorts selection and answering any questions.
I didn't discover these shorts until this year, watching Ryan Van Duzer's YouTube channel where he mentioned these shorts as necessary kit for his bike touring. I've used a set of Gore shorts for the past four years, but haven't liked the outer shell material because it's a stiffer nylon that makes noise as I'm pedaling (a small issue, I know, but after 25 miles of hearing that fabric rustling it gets to you). It's also a looser fit which tends to let the legs of the short ride up over a longer ride. The elevenpine shorts I'm happy to report have none of that noise and the outer shell is much softer and a better fit thanks to the zip sides. I bought the blue shell and really like it. Happy to support a US company. My only advice to elevenpine is to try and find a US company who can sew and produce these for you.
The Uprising short with Liberator liner are the best cycling shorts I have ever used. They fit snug enough to work perfect for cycling but not skin tight like lycra. These shorts hit the sweet spot. Now that I know how well these shorts work I will be ordering another pair.
