Bike Month Contest Terms and Conditions 


Introduction:

  1. The promoter is: Elevenpine Inc, PO Box 148, Boulder, CO 80306
  2. The competition is open to residents of the United States, Canada, and the UK aged 18 years or over except employees of Elevenpine and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

        Eligibility and entry restrictions

        1. Join our club on Strava. If you don’t already have a profile, it’s free to join and a great resource for creating and finding popular routes, as well as building community.
        2. Check out our post for all the challenge details.  
        3. Get riding! You have one whole month to log some serious miles.
        4. Gently heckle your friends. Virtual challenges are better when there’s some healthy competition! 
        5. Visit the leaderboard regularly to see how you rank. 
        6. Snap photos on your rides and tag the #11PChallenge & @Elevenpine on Instagram (Note: this is not required, just a fun way to see how everyone is enjoying their rides)

        Start and closing dates

        1. The competition is open for entries from May 20, 2020 to June 20, 2020. Unless otherwise stated, these times and dates are set to those for MDT (Mountain Daylight Time).
        2. Any entries received before the opening or after the closing of the competition will be invalid and will not be entered into the competition.
        3. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
        4. We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by promoter.

          Winners and prizes

          2. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
          3. The prize is as follows: At the end of the month, two people will win one FREE pair of Elevenpine shorts of their choosing. One for the person with the most miles, and one for the person with the most elevation.
          4. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
          5. Winners will be announced: Wednesday, June 24th
          6. The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter/Facebook and/or letter within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
          7. The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected/is delivered.
          8. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
          9. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
          10. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by United States law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the USA.

          Publicity

          1. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [U.S.] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
          2. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Strava, Facebook, Twitter, or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Elevenpine and not to any other party.
