. My old liner was causing chafing even with “chamois butter”. My daughter recommended this one and loved so much I purchased a 2nd. First ride with it was a 27 mile gravel ride and no chafing.

Yikes - Chamis too short & too thin upfront

Road/Fat/Gravel cyclist. I purchased the Uprising Short (loved) & with the Liberator Liner (thumbs down). This review is for the Liberator Liner. When I opened the package I was like "yikes" as my first impression was that the chamis was way too short and way too thin up front. I decided to give it a chance and headed out on a 20 mile trail ride. That was pushing it as it was getting very uncomfortable halfway thru the ride. The butt coverage was fine but the front coverage fell short. Hopefully ElevenPine will modify as the idea rocks. Until then I will stick with "Shredly The Yogacham Shorts - Women's" as they provide more comfort.

    Liners Rock

I'm a no liner gal. I hate thick chamois, I'm bony and they cause major discomfort where the edges meet the saddle and my skin, so I've been wearing tri shorts for the past 14 yrs with no problems whatsoever, whether 5 or 35 miles in the dirt. For whatever reason, I can handle day long mtb rides with minimal bulk (my first 6 months of riding I didn't even use a chamois) so I was really surprised when I tried this liner and the birds sang. It is unbelievable. The material is soft, the leg bands don't constrict but they also stay put and the chamois is almost non-existent and doesn't make me feel like I have a wet diaper on after a long hot ride. A guy in my riding group was wearing the shorts and raving about them so when I saw they also came as a liner combo and the 2 reviews here were great, with free shipping, exchanges and returns, I decided I didn't have anything to lose. The tri-shorts I liked so much are discontinued and mine are starting to wear so much so that I only use them as liners under my baggies now, but after a long ride the other day I realized it was time to move them to the emergency pile and get something I didn't have to think about. The cost is great, and the customer service is awesome. If you're on the fence, you need to try these, they are the bombdiggity of liner shorts. Seriously. For reference I'm 5'3, 95lbs and the XS fits me perfect.

The bombdiggity of liner shorts - that's a new one for us. Glad you're enjoying these Nathalie and thank you for the review. Cheers!

    Nice But...

The liners are nicely made with a chamois that does not feel like a diaper. I can not speak to how well the padding protects one’s sensitive parts while riding since I had to return them. The lower front on the liner does not work for me since I have not had a flat stomach, in many years. Wish the front was not so low cut.

Hi Diane - thank you for your review. Our liners won't fit every rider and sorry to hear they didn't fit you. We offer the free shipping and returns program to help everyone out since our products are only sold online and at select bike events. Keep an eye on us in the future though, we have more liners coming out for women.
