    Liners Rock

I'm a no liner gal. I hate thick chamois, I'm bony and they cause major discomfort where the edges meet the saddle and my skin, so I've been wearing tri shorts for the past 14 yrs with no problems whatsoever, whether 5 or 35 miles in the dirt. For whatever reason, I can handle day long mtb rides with minimal bulk (my first 6 months of riding I didn't even use a chamois) so I was really surprised when I tried this liner and the birds sang. It is unbelievable. The material is soft, the leg bands don't constrict but they also stay put and the chamois is almost non-existent and doesn't make me feel like I have a wet diaper on after a long hot ride. A guy in my riding group was wearing the shorts and raving about them so when I saw they also came as a liner combo and the 2 reviews here were great, with free shipping, exchanges and returns, I decided I didn't have anything to lose. The tri-shorts I liked so much are discontinued and mine are starting to wear so much so that I only use them as liners under my baggies now, but after a long ride the other day I realized it was time to move them to the emergency pile and get something I didn't have to think about. The cost is great, and the customer service is awesome. If you're on the fence, you need to try these, they are the bombdiggity of liner shorts. Seriously. For reference I'm 5'3, 95lbs and the XS fits me perfect.

The bombdiggity of liner shorts - that's a new one for us. Glad you're enjoying these Nathalie and thank you for the review. Cheers!

    Nice But...

The liners are nicely made with a chamois that does not feel like a diaper. I can not speak to how well the padding protects one’s sensitive parts while riding since I had to return them. The lower front on the liner does not work for me since I have not had a flat stomach, in many years. Wish the front was not so low cut.

Hi Diane - thank you for your review. Our liners won't fit every rider and sorry to hear they didn't fit you. We offer the free shipping and returns program to help everyone out since our products are only sold online and at select bike events. Keep an eye on us in the future though, we have more liners coming out for women.

Bike short? Unlike anything in my collection.

I've seen it before..tried it before...and been disappointed. Not this time. It doesn't feel like a bike short, it doesn't wear like a bike short...but it is! The fabric is so thin and soft it melts in your hands, the section around the leg barely touches you, and even the pad feels minimal (it does fine riding). "Comfy" and "bike short" don't usually go in the same sentence, but here they do. Despite the delicate feel, these shorts hold up. Bear in mind, I don't think they are really designed to wear without the skirt or shorts, through brambles and cactus, but they are so thin they don't add much heat under the other garments--certainly no more than my regular bike shorts. Also, the leg length is good. Short for cool, but long enough for comfort. I don't snag them on the seat, which I've done with really short bike shorts. These do not make me feel restricted, claustrophobic, itchy, and ready to strip as soon as I get out of the saddle (I've been known to do it more than once) regardless of the surrounding people. I now look forward to riding as opposed to dreading it...thank you!!!!!

    Great Liner!

After wearing the liner for the first time, I was so glad I spent the extra money and got both the liner and the shorts. I wore them for the first time the first day of RAGBRAI. Absolutely love them. Will order another pair. Shorts are great as well, but wish they had a pocket.

Thanks for the great review, Mary. We're so glad you enjoyed the Liberator Liners for RAGBRAI. We appreciate the feedback on the shorts and the additional pocket. We're working on new styles now, so keep your eyes peeled for when we announce some of the new features and functionality. Thanks again. Cheers, Ryan at ELEVENPINE
