    Try the Detours

I just added a pair of Detours to my collection (I already have the Uprisings and the Crank it Ups). Love all three pairs! They have converted me from conventional lycra bike shorts. The Detours have an extra pocket that fits my cell phone. The side pockets don't have a zipper, and the zippered lfy make these shorts perfect off the bike, too. I wear all three pairs off the bike, as much as on. They are by far and away the most comfortable shorts iI own. If I could only have one pair, it would be the Detours. These shorts are game changers on and off the bike.

    Perfect shorts!

I have a few pair of eleven pines that I wear through my weekly rotation: yoga, running, cycling, weights. The zip-design is great for cycling, but also keeps the shorts from riding-up in yoga, or stretching. I get frustrated if I wear anything else. Really nice.

    Needs 1 upgrade....

Nice product and fits me well with one exception. IMO shorts in this price range should include adjustments on the waistline to fine tune this area and keep them from sliding down with use. Or in the very least, belt loops. I actually prefer adjusters to belt loops. Velcro or snaps. I have a pair of great fitting mtb shorts that cost less than half what these did that DO include adjustment straps for the waist. (velcro) I'm not sure why this was overlooked or dismissed during the design stage, but it is a legitimate need IMO. For reference I am 5'10" , 160lbs with a 30" waist which I mentioned to elevenpine. They were prompt and courteous in getting back with me. They suggested medium. They fit great, but I long for some waist adjustment to make them 5 stars. Maybe they will update it in the future. This may not present a problem to others, so use your own judgement. IMO it is otherwise a great product and certainly fills a need within the cycling community. :)

    Perfect for Gravel Riding

This is my 3rd pair. Not lycra tight, not too baggy. Awesome customer support.

    As promised

As an over weight 60 year old, riding in cycling bibs can be humiliating. My first ride in the Detour short was a 50 mile ride. I wore them over my bibs and I could barely tell any difference on whether they were there or not. What I could tell was I was not nearly so self conscious off the bike! Well done!
